No sound device in win xp pro?
Having successfully partitioned my hard drive in Vista to include xp pro, suddenly I have no sound devices installed on xp,but having checked device manager in Vista ,everything is working fine,but in xp pro device manager there are a few conflicts in other devices, I’m unsure wether to update reinstall drivers in xp just in case it affects vista on my other partition.
Any advice on how to solve this would be most appreciated.

your sound drivers need downloading from the makers web site and installing go to the makers web site when you find what sound device you have in your computer. the drivers may be on your other partition if so make a copy and drag and drop them to your other partition and then install them
